Thank you for considering Simpson Strong-Tie for your product idea. Below you will see four categories: determine which one best describes the state of your idea/invention. Once you find your fit, you can take your next steps.

 
I am patented   I am patent pending   I have a provisional patent   I have a great idea/invention
I have a United States patent number and a certificate to prove it. Great! You are free to send your idea to us. Please fill-out the New Product Request Form and send your information to the address at the bottom of the form. We will review your idea and get back to you with 3-4 weeks.   I am patent pending and have the documentation to prove it. Good! You will need to complete the New Product Request Form and sign the necessary agreement. Send your information into the address at the bottom of the form.   I have a provisional patent and have the documentation to prove it. OK! Well, we will need you to fill out all the paper work on the New Product Request Form and send it in. The address is at at the bottom of the form.   I have a great new idea, but have not pursued patent protection. Prior to sending Simpson anything, we encourage you to visit www.uspto.gov and learn how easy it is to begin the process of patenting your new idea. Please understand we will not consider your idea otherwise.
