Shipping Clerk – McKinney, TX
There is an open position for a for shipping clerk out of Branch 23, McKinney, Texas. This position will report to the Branch 23 Warehouse Supervisor.
The position of Shipping Clerk is responsible for different equipment used to complete all phases of the warehouse operation including: pulling, stacking, processing, packaging, paperwork, stocking, receiving, returns, and truck loading to complete customer orders. Essential job duties include (but are not limited to): Bending, lifting, and stacking heavy boxes; processing customer orders with a PDA and completing paperwork; using computer and printers to generate bills of lading, reports, and labels; operating stretch wrap machine to prepare pallet for shipment; and processing customer returns. The Shipping Clerk position requires Powered Industrial Truck and Hazardous Materials certifications (training provided). The Shipping Clerk uses the following equipment on a regular basis: riding pallet jack, forklift, and upright forklift. Regular, reliable punctual attendance is essential because of limited staffing resources. Daily communication with trucking companies is also required. Normal hours may vary, but are usually, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday. Some overtime may be required.
