Naming Scheme:

The TUD and ATUD are suitable for rod diameters from 1/2" up to 1 1/4".

Installation:

• Install the specified bearing plate over the Strong-Rod™ threaded rod onto the bottom plate of the wall.
• Remove shrink wrap from TUD.
  IMPORTANT: Do not remove activation pin until isolator nut is installed.
• Install TUD with either end up over Strong-Rod™ threaded rod and onto the bearing plate with the activation pin facing out.
• Install specified plate washer and then nut on top.
• Finger-tighten nut plus an additional 1/3- to 1/2-turn with a wrench.
• Remove activation pin.
