1. N54A fasteners are supplied with hangers.
2. 16d sinkers may be used where 10d commons are called out with no load reduction.
3. Uplift loads are based on DF/SP lumber and have been increased 33% and 60% for earthquake or wind loading with no further increase allowed. Divide (133) Load by 1.33 for normal loading such as in cantilever construction. For SPF use 0.86 x DF/SP uplift load.
4. NAILS: 16d = 0.162" dia. x 3 1/2" long, 10d = 0.148" dia. x 3" long, 10dx1 1/2 = 0.148" dia. x 1 1/2" long. See other nail sizes and information.
