The Dealer Sales Representative represents Simpson Strong-Tie Company with direct and indirect accounts to achieve product sales, provide support service/training, and ensure our products are in stock, well-maintained, and well-represented. Planning the travel itinerary, regular driving to meet customers and having a suitable home office environment conductive to telecommuting will be critical. This position is based out of Columbus, OH and covers the state of Ohio (excluding SW Ohio) and Northeast Indiana.

|70%||Make sales and service calls and increase sales by obtaining and facilitating orders.|
|10%||Build and maintain displays in the retail environment; add new product line to store sets.|
|5%||Conduct product knowledge sessions both at the customer’s location as well as off-site workshops.|
|5%||Make calls on Building Designers, Contractors, and Building Department personnel at the direction of the Territory Manager. May also be a point of contact with the end users: homeowners and sub-contract trades.|
|5%||Perform administrative duties, as required, such as writing sales reports and strategies, and maintaining the company client database.|
|5%||Attend company sales functions and complete all required training schedule.|

Travel Required: This job requires travel 40% of the time.
This full-time, Exempt position is located in Columbus, OH.
