Position Summary

The IT Support Services Analyst will work in an agile environment who is responsible for assisting in the maintenance of company IT systems, and providing IT support to CG Visions/Simpson Strong-Tie employees in our Lafayette, IN office as well as other global locations.  In addition, this individual will be an extraordinary technician, superior communicator, maintain excellent customer service skills and be detail-oriented. Providing Level 1 & 2 support of IT issues with user applications, systems and network devices is the primary focus of this role. This is full-time position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

% Time Job Responsibilities
40% Address internal employees’ IT related issues and requests, follow up with employees on open incidents and requests and document support efforts in the service desk systems.
25% Install, monitor and maintain user workstations, operating systems, applications and proprietary software for clients
10% Suggest and implement Helpdesk/IT support process improvements
10% Perform recurring tasks, such as daily backup, weekly system reports
5% Assure compliance with internal controls related to particular IT functions
5% Write knowledgebase articles of solutions and “how to” information for users and IT technicians
5% Administer and maintain network security access

Education & Certification Requirements

Required or Preferred Degree or Certification
Preferred Bachelors or Associate degree in related field

Minimum Experience

Years Type of Experience
5 years IT related systems deployment, operations and support.
3 years Demonstrable Customer Service
3 years Support of basic network infrastructure including LANs, WANs and WiFi.
3 years Microsoft Server support
3 years Managing medium to large projects from planning to fulfillment.
