Maintenance Technician/Electrician (Swing Shift)

Stockton, CA

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician/Electrician will provide skilled support in maintaining and repairing the physical plant and equipment required by our fast-paced, high-volume sheet metal manufacturing operation. Perform work involving skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC. This position is on our swing shift team. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

% Time Job Responsibilities
50% Perform scheduled preventative and unscheduled repair maintenance on plant equipment, including sheet metal presses and robotic equipment. Work utilizes skills in electrical, AC motor controls, process control, PLC trouble-shooting, mechanical and fluid power. Check drives, motors and belts, check fluid levels, replace parts or perform other maintenance actions, following checklists. Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
40% Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blue prints, repair manuals, part catalogs, as necessary. Assist in determining the options available, and/or parts needed to make necessary repairs to equipment. Inspect, operate or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
10% Fabricate and maintain fixtures, tools, forms, etc., required in the production and testing of products. Assist in setting up production operations. Maintain records of maintenance work as required.

Education & Certification Requirements

Preferred High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Technical training related to the position

This full-time, non-exempt position is located at 5151 S. Airport Way in Stockton, California.

Relocation will not be considered for this position.
