You want to be an important member of a strong team of other makers who take pride in their work and support each other. We are seeking a progressive, modern leader that will put their mark on our company and be a leader in servicing our National Account customers. This customer base is defined as Home Centres, Buying Groups, and Co-op customers based in all provinces and territories within Canada.

As a National Accounts Regional Manager you will oversee business development of the Connector, Fastener, and Anchor products (while assisting with all others products) for the assigned National Account customer base.

Thorough insights, ideas, planning and initiatives, you will help move our teams to create, maintain and extend our competitive advantages in the market. Recognizing the value our team brings to our customers and our organization, you will manage these resources effectively; building a successful plan to efficiently service and grow our current business. Utilizing your organizational, analytical and administrative skills, you will facilitate growth strategies, product forecasting, product transitioning including rationalization, and analyzing sales metrics.

What You'll Be Doing

% Time Job Responsibilities
50% Grow our share of wallet with existing National Account customers by evaluating customers’ needs and ensure the company’s programs are suited to provide a no-equal experience. Responsibilty for marketing/advertising coordination with Home Office and appropriate customer/industry publications. Maintain strong relationships with key customers’ management.
20% Establish and review pricing programs and strategy that may also include product rationalization, product transition, planograms, and new product launches. Maintenance of online portals, customer website content, and future marketing opportunities to the E-Commerce side off our business.
20% Work with our Pitt Meadows and Brampton offices and warehouse teams to effectively provide our customers with No-Equal service. Participate in regular meetings with various stake holders on a regular basis and availability to provide leadership when required. Maintaining office time in one of our facilities on a weekly basis will be required. Periodically working with Sales teams on how to sell to and maintain National Account customers.
10% Manage National Account Buying Shows including booth layout coordination, staffing, and product/program sales.

Desired Skills and Experience

If you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS/BBA), with an emphasis in business or marketing.
  • 5 years of related experience and/or training, including exposure to the Home Centre channel.
  • Results driven with experience in Sales, Communication, Problem Solving, and Leadership.
  • Previous E-commerce experience on a national level. Ability to strategize and grow customer’s online business using our company’s marketing collateral.
  • Experience in Relationship building both with internal and external customers.
  • Readily re-adjust priorities to respond to pressing and changing customer needs.
  • Recognize potentially adverse customer reactions and develop better alternatives.
  • Set priorities, goals, and timelines to achieve maximum productivity. Manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Display a high level of initiative and effort to completing tasks.
  • Mathematic Reasoning including business accounting, probability, and statistics.
  • Excellent ability to communicate in English language. Candidates with abilities to communicate in French language will be viewed favourably.
  • Ability to speak effectively and present information to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to write in a clear, concise, organized and convincing manner for the intended audience.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
  • Ability to use computers and mobile devices including apps/software: Microsoft Office, Salesforce, SAP and other company owned/contracted software. High degree of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required.

This job requires 40%+ domestic travel, mainly in Canada with occasional travel to other parts of North America.

This full-time position is ideally suited to be based from our Brampton, ON office.

Relocation may be considered for this position.

This position reports to the Branch Sales Manager — Canada.
