The Automatics Press Operator is responsible for operating a progressive stamping press in such a manner as to achieve safety, quality, efficiency, LEAN and production goals. We have openings on 1st shift (Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday from 6:00 AM -4:30 PM), and 2nd shift (Monday-Thursday from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM).

|80%||Operate any and all presses as needed to support department and company goals. Use air or electric powered hand tools and make adjustments to equipment as necessary.|
|10%||Communicate with department leadership regarding issues and improvements. Assist other personnel with press set-ups and changeovers.|
|5%||Perform quality inspections to drawings and specifications per procedures and maintain a clean work environment.|
|5%||Count, package and palletize finished product in accordance with work orders. Material handling of cartons, labels, coils of steel, pallets and packaging tape.|

|Reading Comprehension||Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.|
|Analysis/Reading||Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.|
|Communication||Able to communicate one-on-one and in small group settings|
|Measurements||Able to read a tape measure to 1/32” tolerance, to use combination squares to measure angles to +/- 1 degree and ability to use and read a micrometer|
This full-time, non-exempt position is located in Columbus, OH.
