Provide on-the-floor first line leadership to production personnel. The Production Supervisor - Fabrication is responsible for supporting team members in order to achieve safety, quality and production goals through effective leadership and communication. This includes the coordination of work through several operations (NC Punch, press brake, weld, powder coat, and assembly) while maintaining a 48 hour turn around on all customer orders. The Production Supervisor - Fabrication is also responsible for hiring, training, addressing employee concerns, and conducting performance appraisals. The position reports to the department supervisor. This position works Monday – Thursday 2:30pm – 1:00am.

|40%||Ensure that the production schedule is followed and direct operations accordingly in order to satisfy the needs of our customers.|
|40%||While performing the supervisory responsibilities required the employee must represent the Company in the utmost professional manner and in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and applicable laws; especially when addressing complaints, resolving problems, and all other supervisory responsibilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: interviewing, hiring, and training of new employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees.|
|10%||Operate equipment as necessary in order to satisfy production demands and needs of the department including forklift, reach truck and pallet jack. Provide training in proper procedures to team members. Assist employees with set-ups and troubleshooting as necessary.|
|10%||Perform quality checks per procedures and post completed Work Orders, ensuring that correct materials, components, quantities, and identification are noted before closing.|
