The Quality Control Technician will be responsibility for performing quality inspections on incoming purchased products and samples including taking dimensional measurements, performing packaging inspections, performing proofing tests for hardness or durometer, leaking and functions and ultimate loads. In addition will be required to perform some of the daily duties of the Quality Manager in his/her absence.

|25%||Analyze and update quality documentation (work instructions, test procedures, internal references, forms, product and material specification sheets, etc.), making certain that current practices are being documented.|

|25%||Specific Laboratory Responsibilities: Perform routine and non-routine chemical testing of raw materials, bulk products, finished goods, stability samples, and validation samples.|

|Preferred||Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university|

|Analysis/Reasoning||Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.,) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.|
|Computer Skills||Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with MS SharePoint and Smartsheet is preferred.|
This full-time, non-exempt hourly position is located in West Chicago.
Travel Required / %: This job requires minimal to no travel, 5% of the time.
