The primary role of a Quote Representative is to provide informative and efficient assistance to both customers and sales people assisting with the quote process. This will be accomplished by processing quotes in an accurate and timely fashion while communicating and coordinating with all parties (customer, sales force, engineering, production, outside vendors, other branches) to keep them informed and finish the task at hand.
|% Time||Job Responsibilities|
|50%||Answer queue calls along with their direct line calls while processing quotes into the system. Costing out Spec Non Catalogs, factoring percentages, processing take offs, breaking down ATS plans by floor and understanding OMF & SMF drawings are among the skills that are expected from QR's.|
|25%||Investigate and answer customer inquiries related to the catalog, products and product use as well as provide technical counsel when possible. Some other duties include Multi-tasking and prioritizing skills are required.|
|25%||Work directly with sales managers and outside salespeople on competitive information and historical job data analysis and will keep updated with all required trainings and maintain a product knowledge level which enables them to respond to questions efficiently.|
