Technical Sales Representative – Concrete Construction Products

Houston, TX

Position Summary:

Market, manage, and distribute the Concrete Anchor, Concrete Repair, and Cold Formed Steel products through multiple channels of distribution.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

% Time Job Responsibilities
60% Conduct sales calls on Structural and Civil Engineers, contractors, distributors, suppliers, building departments, and municipalities that would use or sell the anchor line.
20% Conduct field/classroom product knowledge meetings.
10% Secure product specifications from Structural Engineers and other specifiers.
10% Research, develop, and market new areas.

Education & Certification Requirements:

Required or Preferred Degree or Certification
Preferred Bachelor’s degree (B.A/B.S.)


Years Type of Experience
2 years Related experience and/or training in servicing specifiers, contractors and suppliers as well as selling concrete repair and restoration products

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

Speaking Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Customer Focus Ability to build and maintain customer satisfaction.
Technical Knowledge of post-installed anchors.
Writing Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Accountability & Dependability Ability to hold self and others accountable for measureable, high-quality, timely, and cost-effective results.
Results Focus & Initiative Ability to set high goals and work hard to achieve them.

Travel Required / %: This job requires domestic travel, 40-50% of the time.

This full-time, exempt position is located in Houston, TX.
