The scraper is a toughened steel chisel designed for light chipping and the removal of tile, grout and mortar. This demolition scraper has gone through a specialized tempering process to create a hardened surface that's wear resistant. The special surface treatment improves performance and allows the scraper edge to be sharpened whenever necessary, extending the life of the tool.
