UB Post Bracket

This product is only available in Canada

The UB is a U-shaped saddle bracket designed to connect wood posts to existing concrete. This post bracket is specifically intended to be used in post-installed applications. The UB uses concrete anchors to secure it to existing concrete.

Finish

  • Hot-dip galvanized; use HDG fasteners

Installation

  • Use all specified fasteners; see General Notes
  • Provide notched area in base of post for concrete anchors
  • Post bases do not provide adequate resistance to prevent members from rotating about the base and therefore are not recommended for non-top-supported installations
