Uplift loads are based on DF/SP lumber and have been increased for wind or earthquake loading with
no further increase allowed; reduce where other loads govern. For SPF/HF use 0.86 x DF/SP uplift load.
When I-joist is used as header, all nails must be 10d x 1 1/2" and allowable loads assume flanges that are at
least 1 1/2" thick made of Douglas Fir, LVL or LSL. For other flange thicknesses, apply load adjustment
factors found in the table below.
