RTU and HVAC Support

RTU Galvanized Steel Support for Your Demands

Mix and match QuickFrames rails and hangers when projects demand different configurations. QuickFrames offers three (3) rail strengths that are made from galvanized (G90) graded steel.

10-gauge is ideal for floor openings or roof openings with CMU structural support.

We also offer 10-gauge QuickFrames DIY Frame kits that are cut-to-length and a great solution for small or last-minute remodeling and tenant improvement projects.

Roof Frames to Support Your Equipment

The most commonly used rails are the QuickFrames 12-gauge. These frames are utilized for most mechanical rooftop equipment such as RTUs, air handling units (AHU), condensing units (CU), makeup air units (MAU), powered fans, and vents.

Adaptable Structural Support Frames

For lighter equipment, but with the integrity and durability to take on general environmental loads, QuickFrames offers a 16-gauge frame. This gauge can be used for smoke vent skylights, solar tubes, roof hatches, roof drains, and concrete pour spouts.

Commercial Skylights

Install Commercial Skylights Without Interruption

QuickFrames bolt-in structural frames do not require welding to install, making them an option in no-weld/no-spark situations, or for businesses that cannot afford downtime. Since QuickFrames are light, it is easy to take multiple frames up in a lift, slide them into place, and install with just two people and a 3/4" impact driver.

These frames gives you the ability to “measure twice and cut once”. Once slid into place and bolted in, you can adjust for the tightest fit possible before cutting into decking.

Our Simple Commercial Skylight Installation Solution

When it comes to commercial building skylights, the right frame is everything. Many construction teams still use welded angle irons to install their skylights, which is often a time-consuming and laborious process. It’s also permanent, so you cannot move or adjust it in the future.

With QuickFrames, we’ve developed an easier way to perform an installation that gives you more control. Plus, our precision-made framing solutions are manufactured faster and as durable as you need them to be.

QuickFrames Benefits Architects to Builders

Everyone involved with your next project, from architects to builders and construction teams, is sure to see the value in using QuickFrames over angle iron frames. Installing commercial roof skylights using QuickFrames over traditional angle iron are:

Efficient: Having telescoping rails and being field-adjustable, QuickFrames reduces rework and the need to chase down calculations.

Faster: When using QuickFrames on a project, installation time generally takes 20 minutes, so you can use labor on higher priority tasks and move projects along faster.

Easier: With QuickFrames, your crew already has all the necessary experience to install, saving you time and money. Plus, the only equipment you need is a 3/4" impact driver.

Roof Hatch Framing

Secure Your Roof Hatch with QuickFrames

Commercial roofing systems must be reliable, durable, secure, and maintained. To ensure the effectiveness of all requirements, roof hatches need to be in place to gain direct access for inspection.

Roof hatches can be used for equipment pass-through or as a natural light source, providing energy efficiency. And with the demands of roof-access traffic, equipment transport, safety, security, and environmental elements, having secure structural support is clearly important.

That's why QuickFrames are manufactured and engineered to support the weight and load demands for the safety requirements of roof hatches.

Roof Exhaust Fan

Install Frames Before Cutting Deck

QuickFrames can be installed underneath the deck so they can be removed if changes occur before the roof decking is cut. This will save time and frustration when waiting for locations from engineering. Plus, QuickFrames rails are telescoping, which makes them easy to adjust to the right fit.

When flooring is down or to avoid facility closure, our no-weld solution makes remodels and equipment replacement less complicated and safer to complete.

Pre-Engineered Exhaust Fan Installation Solution

We know the importance of superior design and high-caliber engineering. That's why our steel roof frames are designed for the seamless installation of both roof mounted and flat roof exhaust fans.

QuickFrames Capabilities for New or Existing Construction

QuickFrames were created from extensive experience and solid industry expertise and are designed with the following capabilities:

Adjustable frames: Our roof frames are in-field adjustable and allow adaptability to any modification of the roof opening dimension and joist spacing.

Sturdy materials: We use galvanized, graded steel to manufacture our framing solutions. Rail gauges and components are recommended according to environmental loads, building plans, and equipment being installed.

Precise structure: Your frame order is tracked through our estimating and production departments from quote until they are in the installer’s hands.

Roof Drains

Expedite Your Install with QuickFrames

Roof drain installations can become complicated when coordinating subcontractors, materials, and all the communication in between.

Installing QuickFrames takes two people, an impact driver, and about 20 minutes, which saves time, labor, budget, and frustration. Frames will arrive at your jobsite fully or partially assembled, depending on design needs, for greater efficiency.
