Mechanical Commercial HVAC

Adjustable Rooftop Equipment Support Frames

QuickFrames rails are telescoping so that when design plan or equipment changes occur you can adjust to fit or remove and reuse the frames all according to the structural needs in the field.

Avoid the possibility of leaks, increased vibration, unwanted interior noise, or other roofing issues when calculations and loads are unclear by using QuickFrames.

QuickFrames were designed to remove the headache of chasing down dimensions by giving you the flexibility to continue with your project.

How HVAC Pros Benefit from Steel Support Frames

By replacing traditional welded angle iron with galvanized steel QuickFrames, HVAC professionals have experienced the following:

  • Shorter lead times
  • No need for welding
  • Safer to install
  • Outstanding adjustability
  • Installs underneath the deck
  • Supports a variety of HVACR systems
  • Can be used on different building structures

QuickFrames Makes Installation Easier

QuickFrames install from underneath the deck alleviating the need to cut until you need to. Galvanized steel frames are lighter and easier to lift both by labor and equipment, and only require two persons and a 3/4″ impact driver.

QuickFrames come in weld and non-weld options making them safer and easier to install. Most taking only 20-minutes to install.

Adaptable QuickFrames Is a Simple Option

QuickFrames can be used with nearly any HVAC and mechanical roof equipment, and on most roof types.

Our variety of connectors include joist/beam, panelized wood, hybrid joists (with wood nailers), pre-engineered metal buildings (C and Z purlins), CMU walls, gypsum, glulam, membrane roofs, and more.

Sturdy RTU Steel Supports with QuickFrames

Rooftop unit (RTU) support frames offer heavy-duty structural solutions for HVAC systems, fans, evaporated coolers and more, and QuickFrames manufactures the leading solutions for commercial equipment. We started our business specifically with RTUs in mind, looking for a new way to efficiently install steel support frames that takes care of coordination issues and rework that can be a common occurrence. Today, we’ve delivered more than 50,000 frames throughout North America, proving our product and engineering is a game changer.

Your Structural Support System

Traditional welded angle iron frames are no longer the only option for RTU support frames. Sure, they are thought of as cost-effective and what is commonly used, but with the weeks to manufacture and booking a welder are they the best option? And needing to be welded in place is not an option when working on a retrofit or if tile flooring is existing and already installed. Here’s where QuickFrames becomes a good option. Most gauges are stocked, QuickFrames are adjustable, and can be shipped direct.

Whether you’re working on a new build or T/I commercial building, QuickFrames’ are engineered for your project type.

Gain More Control of Your Shop Schedule

QuickFrames free up shop time. That’s our reputation. No need to use valuable fabrication and detailing time, or book a welder, when using Drop-in QuickFrames. Drop-in frames arrive to the jobsite fully assembled saving time welding frames together being faster and more efficient than angle iron.

Or use our pre-engineered Bolt-in frames for a variety of roof types and configurations. Plus, our expert estimators will help you determine the hangers you need, and no shop drawings are required.

Reduce Welding Errors and Rework

Lower your labor costs by removing welding all together with Bolt-in QuickFrames. Bolt-in frames arrive partially assembled, have telescoping rails that are adjustable, and hangers slide under the decking for install before cutting. The combined components reduce the rework you have with welded frames.

You can un-bolt, move, and bolt-on QuickFrames Bolt-in frames in the field as needed. Again, making schedule delays due to rework go away.

Install With Two People and Within 20-Minutes

Installing a QuickFrame requires two people and a 3/4" impact driver. That’s it. Taking only 20-minutes per frame.

QuickFrames are designed to save time and that includes installation. All shipments arrive with plans and an installation guide. Bolt-in telescoping frames install underneath the deck while Drop-in pre-assembled frames drop in by using a crane or reach-out forklift. All frames are made from galvanized steel making them durable and light for strength and easy handling.

Install QuickFrames in 20-Minutes —  Arrive Ready to Install.

QuickFrames are pre-engineered with bolt-in frames arriving partially assembled and drop-in frames arriving to the jobsite fully assembled for easy unpacking.

QuickFrames are made from galvanized steel so they are lighter for not only the installers but also to take multiple frames up in a lift.

QuickFrames require two-persons to install and a 3/4″ impact driver. Bolt-in frames do not need welding for even greater cost savings.

Advantages of QuickFrames Over Angle Iron

QuickFrames solves the coordination issues that come from waiting on locations, sizing, and calculations, and getting the wrong information.

QuickFrames are a no weld solution. There’s no need to hope that a fabricator will make your job a priority. No need to find and schedule a welder, and plan for safety.

Angle iron is a lot harder to install once the deck is down, and even harder to modify when changes occur.

QuickFrames are manufactured in-house and stocked for short lead times and delivered directly to your jobsite.

Why Use QuickFrames?

The QuickFrames team will take care of you from start to finish by trafficking your job from quote through production until it reaches your installer. We do this by providing you and your team with all the information you need and when you need it.

QuickFrames are designed and engineered to make roof system installs efficient and jobsites safer with a solution that requires less effort and saves time. Feedback from the field is that QuickFrames cuts installation time down to 1/4 of the projected roof frame installation time on the schedule.

Ease Coordination Headaches by Using QuickFrames

QuickFrames telescoping rails adjust to fit in the field. When cut out or equipment dimension changes occur, QuickFrames rails can adjust to the required size.

Bolt-in QuickFrames can unbolt and modify according to configuration changes. QuickFrames slide under the decking. When a configuration change happens, unbolt, remove, move, and adjust QuickFrames to new configuration requests.

QuickFrames Minimize Wait Times

No need to wait on getting your job in queue with a fabricator, QuickFrames can be installed as soon as they arrive at your jobsite. Plus, QuickFrames does not require detailed shop drawings. We will evaluate your plans and put your quote together from that.

Quote turnaround times happen within 24 to 48 hours. QuickFrames are manufactured and stocked in-house for short lead times. We work within your shipping and priority schedule to ensure installation starts when it’s go time.

QuickFrames Support a Variety of Configurations

QuickFrames are designed so that they can be tailored to changes as they happen to evolving designs and in the field. This would include configurations, equipment, cut out dimensions, and calculations.

With the engineering behind QuickFrames they span joists, beams, trusses, purlins, etc. and are graded certified 50+ KSI G-90 hot rolled steel.

Rail forming and the location of slots are engineered for maximum adjustability. For environmental load capacity consideration, QuickFrames are available in 10Ga, 12Ga, and 16Ga, and come with wider top flange for deck and curb attachment.
