Adjustable Rooftop Equipment Support Frames

QuickFrames rails are telescoping, so that when design plan or equipment changes occur, you can adjust them to fit or remove and reuse the frames all according to the structural needs in the field.

By using QuickFrames, you can avoid the possibility of leaks, increased vibration, unwanted interior noise, or other roofing issues when calculations and loads are unclear. Our products were designed to remove the headache of chasing down dimensions, giving you the flexibility to continue with your project.

How HVAC Pros Benefit from Steel Support Frames

By replacing traditional welded angle iron with galvanized steel QuickFrames, HVAC professionals have experienced the following:

  • Shorter lead times
  • No need for welding
  • Safer installations
  • Outstanding adjustability
  • Installations underneath the deck
  • Support for a variety of HVACR systems
  • Ability to use on different building structures

QuickFrames Makes Installation Easier

QuickFrames install from underneath the deck, alleviating the need to cut until you need to. Galvanized steel frames are lighter and easier to lift both by labor and equipment, and only require two people and a 3/4″ impact driver.

QuickFrames come in weld and non-weld options, making them safer and easier to install—most taking only 20 minutes.

Adaptable QuickFrames Is a Simple Option

QuickFrames can be used with nearly any HVAC and mechanical roof equipment, and on most roof types.

Our variety of connectors includes joist/beam, panelized wood, hybrid joists (with wood nailers), pre-engineered metal buildings (C and Z purlins), CMU walls, gypsum, glulam, membrane roofs, and more.

Sturdy RTU Steel Supports with QuickFrames

Rooftop unit (RTU) support frames offer heavy-duty structural solutions for HVAC systems, fans, evaporated coolers, and more, making them the leading solutions for commercial equipment.

The creation of QuickFrames began with RTUs in mind, looking for a new way to efficiently install steel support frames that address common occurrences like coordination issues and rework. There have been more than 50,000 frames delivered throughout North America, proof that the product itself and the engineering are game changers.

Your Structural Support System

Traditional welded angle iron frames are no longer the only option for RTU support frames. QuickFrames eliminates the need for welding, which opens up the opportunity to use them on a retrofit project or where there is existing floor already in place. QuickFrames are adjustable, can be directly shipped to you, and have most gauges already in stock.

Whether you’re working on a new build or T/I commercial building, QuickFrames’ are engineered for your project type.

Steel Fabricators

Gain More Control of Your Shop Schedule

QuickFrames free up shop time. No need to use valuable fabrication and detailing time, or book a welder, when using drop-in QuickFrames. They arrive at the jobsite fully assembled making them faster and more efficient than angle iron.

Or use our pre-engineered bolt-in frames for a variety of roof types and configurations. Plus, our expert estimators will help you determine the hangers you need, and no shop drawings are required.

Reduce Welding Errors and Rework

Lower your labor costs by removing welding all together with bolt-in QuickFrames. They arrive partially assembled, have telescoping rails that are adjustable, and hangers that slide under the decking for installation before cutting. You can also un-bolt and move the frames as needed in the field. These features combined reduce the rework you have with welded frames and eliminate schedule delays due to rework.

Stop Chasing Down Dimensions

One of the biggest headaches of getting a commercial roof system installed is the coordination to make sure everyone has the correct information they need when they need it. QuickFrames were designed to eliminate this challenge.

With QuickFrames, you don’t have to wait on dimensions. They are adjustable and come in 16-gauge, 12-gauge, and 10-gauge steel for versatility. We perform the take-offs and offer site-specific engineering to help you keep your project moving.

Install With Two People Within 20 Minutes

Installing QuickFrames requires two people and a 3/4" impact driver, taking only 20 minutes per frame.

QuickFrames are designed to save time and that includes installation. All shipments arrive with plans and an installation guide. Bolt-in telescoping frames install underneath the deck while drop-in pre-assembled frames drop in by using a crane or reach-out forklift. All frames are made from galvanized steel making them durable and light for strength and easy handling.

General Contractors

Install QuickFrames in Only 20 Minutes

QuickFrames are pre-engineered and arrive ready to install. Bolt-in frames arrive partially assembled and do not require any welding and drop-in frames arrive at the jobsite fully assembled for easy unpacking.

They are made from galvanized steel, so they are lighter not only for the installers, but also for the ease of taking multiple frames up in a lift at one time. Installing them only requires two people and a 3/4″ impact driver.

Advantages of QuickFrames Over Angle Iron

QuickFrames solve the coordination issues that come from waiting on locations, sizing, and calculations, and getting the wrong information.

Compared to angle iron that is a lot harder to install once the deck is down, and even harder to modify when changes occur, QuickFrames provide a no-weld solution. They eliminate the wait time from fabricators and the need to coordinate with welders. They are manufactured in-house, stocked for short lead times, and delivered directly to your job site.

Why Use QuickFrames?

QuickFrames are designed and engineered to make roof system installs efficient and jobsites safer with a solution that requires less effort and time. Feedback from the field is that QuickFrames cuts installation time down to 1/4 of the projected roof frame installation time on the schedule.

The QuickFrames team will take care of you from start to finish by tracking your job from quote through production until it reaches your installer. We do this by providing you and your team with all the information you need, when you need it.

Ease Coordination Headaches by Using QuickFrames

QuickFrames telescoping rails adjust to fit the required size of your project in the field.  Bolt-in QuickFrames slide under the decking, so when a configuration change happens, you can easily unbolt, remove, move, and adjust them to meet new configuration requests.

QuickFrames Minimize Wait Times

No need to wait on getting your job in queue with a fabricator—QuickFrames can be installed as soon as they arrive at your jobsite. Plus, QuickFrames does not require detailed shop drawings. We evaluate your plans and put your quote together within 24 to 48 hours from that information.

QuickFrames are manufactured and stocked in-house for short lead times. We work within your shipping and priority schedule to ensure installation starts when it’s “go” time.

QuickFrames Support a Variety of Configurations

QuickFrames are designed so that they can be tailored to changes as they happen in the field. This includes configuration, equipment, cut-out dimensions and calculation changes.

QuickFrames are designed to work with joists, beams, trusses, purlins, etc. and are graded certified 50+ KSI G-90 hot-rolled steel. Rail forming and the location of slots are engineered for maximum adjustability.

For environmental load capacity consideration, QuickFrames are available in 16-gauge, 12-gauge, and 10-gauge steel and come with wider top flanges for deck and curb attachment.
