Simpson Strong-Tie Company, Inc. has established a scholarship program to assist architecture, structural and civil engineering and construction management students. The Student Scholarship program offers scholarships to support education and encourage the design and building of safer structures in our communities. Scholarship applicants must be enrolled as juniors (at least 60 semester hours or equivalent) or seniors in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an eligible four-year college or university for the entire upcoming academic year.
This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship America, which is the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship and tuition reimbursement programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability or national origin.
Awards
Up to one hundred (100) $2,000 scholarships will be awarded for the 2023-2024 academic year to students at participating schools. Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Application
Interested students must complete the online application no later than March 31, 2023. Grade reports are not acceptable. Online transcripts must display student name, school name, grade and credit hours earned for each course, and term in which each course was taken. Applicants will receive email acknowledgment of receipt of their application.
Applicants are responsible for gathering and submitting all necessary information. Applications are evaluated on the information supplied; therefore, answer all questions as completely as possible. Incomplete or ineligible applications will not be evaluated. All information received is considered confidential and is reviewed only by Scholarship America.
