Simpson Strong-Tie Composite Strengthening Systems™ (CSS) provide code- and non-code-listed solutions for the structural reinforcement of structures. Developed in-house, our fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) system is designed to the specific requirements of each jobsite or condition and features the industry’s first code-listed laminate. Each FRP solution is designed by Simpson Strong-Tie, provides a high strength/stiffness-to-weight ratio, and is installed by a network of qualified contractors to offer a cost-effective, one-stop alternative to traditional strengthening and retrofit methods.

Epoxy Primer and Saturant

CSS-ES — Epoxy Primer & Saturant

CSS-ES is a two-component, high-strength, high-modulus, epoxy resin system used to prime substrates and saturate the Simpson Strong-Tie® Composite Strengthening System (CSS) fabrics. When extended with fumed silica, thickened CSS-ES is used as a high-performance substrate repair material and CSS finish coating.

CSS-UES — Underwater Epoxy Saturant

CSS-UES is a two-component, high-strength, high-modulus epoxy resin system used to saturate the Simpson Strong-Tie Composite Strengthening Systems (CSS) fabrics for marine applications. When extended with fumed silica, thickened CSS-UES is used as a high-performance substrate repair material and CSS finish coating.
